Killearn Malawi Group

The Killearn Malawi Group (SC043555) does what it says on the tin! From our small village of Killearn in Stirlingshire, we have contacts and work with communities in Mzuzu and near Embangweni, in the Northern Region, and in Nsanje District, in the Southern Region. We talk to communities, which some of our trustees have visited, and respond to the needs they bring to us. We are fortunate to work with Malawian partners who we know well, and who enable our work to progress. We have worked to support community groups in Education, Health, and mitigating natural disasters. In Nsanje District, we are working with the PTA and Staff of a Community Day Secondary School, building a Library/Science block, and enabling the school to receive its first computers. We are now helping the PTA to build a Girls' Hostel, to enable more girls to continue with their education.
We are a small charity, but make a big impact in the communities where we work.
