City of Edinburgh Council

The City of Edinburgh Council is a local authority. The Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh is joint honorary president of the Scotland Malawi Partnership with Provost Sadie Docherty of Glasgow. The City of Edinburgh Council has an interest in all areas of activity with Malawi, is already involved in teacher exchanges and placements with Malawi. Many Edinburgh schools already carry out activities with Malawi. The Council can act as facilitator for activities between Edinburgh and Malawi.
