Health Forum, co-hosted with the Malawi Scotland Partnership (MaSP) focusing on Cholera in Malawi & the Scottish Government-funded Cervical Cancer Screening Project, Malscot.
Co-chaired by the SMP Chair, Professor Heather Cubie, and MaSP Chair, Dr Ann Phoya we heard about the latest Cholera outbreak in Malawi from the Co-Chair of the Presidential Taskforce on Covid and Cholera, Dr Wilfred Chalamira Nkhoma.
The Forum also heard about the Scottish Government-funded cervical cancer project Malscot from the project’s Dr Christine Campbell & Beatrice Kabota.
This was a hybrid meeting with participants joining in person from the Mandela Room at Edinburgh City Chambers as well as digitally, through zoom.
