Malawian learners now realise that there are opportunities for them after Primary education. They can achieve their goals in life. More learners are attaining higher grades in their exams. We will continue to support them as we develop our learners in Beath HS to become Global Citizens, thinking of others.
During our first visit in 2016, Beath HS signed a Memorandum of Understanding with our partner schools of Mapanga PS (Mulanje) and Njale PS (Thyolo). This understanding is based on mutual support for learners, staff and the communities which they serve. We have supplied teaching materials and class materials for the learners. We have been able to fund scholarships for identified individuals from both schools to move on to Secondary education in their area. We have also facilitated CPD/training for the staff within each of the schools. In return we have developed friendships and realise that we have common goals for our learners in Beath HS. We support the 90kg Kilombero rice challenge and have succeeded with our second 90kg!
