Luckie Beans are a speciality coffee roasting company. We are proud to be a member of the Scotland Malawi Partnership. Malawi AAA coffee was the first coffee to be chosen for Luckie Beans range. It was only then that we discovered the strong relationship between Scotland & Malawi. Coffee was introduced to Malawi in 1878 from a single tree taken from Edinburgh’s Royal Botanical Gardens. Grown in the best soil in Northern Malawi. This AAA (largest coffee bean size) is grown on the Eastern side of Nyika National Park close to where Dr. Livingstone once camped. The area is dominated by the high Nyika plateau, which rises to 2500m above sea level. With cupping notes of Maple, Kumquats & Dates this Malawi AAA coffee is fantastic, especially as a filter coffee.
