I'm helping to run the Strips4Malawi initiative, which seeks out donations of new, and good condition used, youth football team strips and equipment from Scottish professional and amateur football clubs, and schools, for distribution to our partner youth sports academies in Lilongwe, Ekwendeni and Blantyre.

It's early days, but the provision of complete football strips and other equipment to youth teams in Malawi helps our partner academies create an environment where recreational sport can be used to encourage healthy lifestyle choices amongst some of the most needy young boys and girls of Malawi.
