Patricia Weir

My link to Malawi has been with the Mercy James Centre for Paediatric Surgery and Intensive Care, which sits within Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre. Post retirement I spent 2 years there helping establish the intensive care unit. For the last 5 years I have been back for a few months I have gone back to support the unit and provide anaesthesia. Going forward I think my role will be more in mentoring and education.
