All Scottish universities are members of the Scotland Malawi Partnership, with an active interest in Malawi.
Some Scottish further and higher education institutions have dozens of different links with Malawi, across the faculty, research-links and student body.
Scotland has been closely involved in this area of Malawian life since the first Malawian university was founded in 1964, soon after independence.
The SMP hosts a regular Further and Higher Education Forum to bring together all its different members in this area, sharing updates, information and expertise.
