Youth and School Consultations - Have your say

27 May 2021

The world has changed dramatically in the last year, and with that, there has never been a more important time to embrace partnerships that work for the future and embrace key issues of our time: climate change, race and equality and COVID-19.

Our Youth Festival 2021 reached over 250,000+ people online across both countries and further - a figure that can't be ignored as we move to develop our next steps. Now we want to make youth and school partnerships more accessible than ever, and continue to enhance their lifechanging potential as we adapt to the future.

We have recently hosted a series of Youth and Schools consultation sessions, lead by our Youth and Schools Officers, Luisa. These sessions explored questions such as -

  • How do we adapt to the climate crisis?
  • The global pandemic?
  • Issues of race and equality?
  • How do we focus on a fairer and greener future?

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to these sessions so far.

Teachers from Gleniffer High School, Largs Academy, Penicuik High School, Ayr Academy, New Monkland Primary School, Saint Margaret’s High School and ESMS Juniors have discussed with us a range of intriguing new ideas.

What do you think?

Let us know your thoughts on the above or even more through the surveys linked below. Please share your responses before the end of 31st May.
