The Scottish Government is keen to share with Members of the SMP and the Alliance, its intention for there to be a review of the International Small Grants Programme.

Working closely with the Scottish Government’s International Development team, Scotland's International Development Alliance (formerly known as NIDOS) and the SMP were instrumental in the inception and development of the Small Grants Programme.
Scottish Government Development Assistance Programmes
Established in 2013, its aim was to support smaller organisations in their work to help some of the world's most vulnerable communities.
The programme has continued to evolve collaboratively over the past six years, taking account of the Scottish Government’s new Strategy in 2016 when partner countries were identified as Malawi, Rwanda, Zambia and Pakistan.
The review will be carried out for the Scottish Government by the Corra Foundation, through Corra retaining an independent consultant to work within their International Grants Team for this purpose.
It will focus on the delivery and structure of the Small Grants Programme, asking open questions of a range of organisations and individuals within the International Development sector in Scotland.
