An inspiring new video, produced by the University of Strathclyde's Climate Justice Fund, with input from the SMP and our members, shows the speed and effectiveness of Scotland's support.

We are delighted to help promote a new six-minute video which outlines Scotland’s response to the devastating 2019 floods.

This inspiring new video, produced by the University of Strathclyde's Climate Justice Fund, with input from the SMP and our members, shows the speed and effectiveness of Scotland’s support.

The damage to livelihoods and infrastructure will take months and years to recover from. We continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our friends in Malawi as we support efforts to rebuild and recover.

We also continue to share information and updates on our website, and we encourage our members to continue giving generously to our members’ appeals.

We would like to thank all of our members who helped provide information, photos and videos in the coordination of this video, especially Oxfam, SCIAF, Christian Aid, the Dòchas Education Trust and the University of Edinburgh.

You can keep up-to-date with all the latest news and reports on the recovery efforts following the Malawi floods on our website.
