Film-making opportunity for members - TELL YOUR STORY

11 December 2015

The Scotland Malawi Partnership (SMP) and our sister organisation in Malawi the Malawi Scotland Partnership (MaSP) are keen to commission a number of short case study films in Malawi to show the Malawi side of the partnership.

The SMP and MaSP are keen to help members promote their work and are in the process of commissioning a series of short films case studying civic links between Malawi and Scotland.

If you would like the SMP to arrange for a short film (3 mins) to be made about your partnership, please contact Jackie (jackie(at)scotland-malawipartnership.org) asap.

We have professional videographers in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu ready to visit projects and make short films profiling links with Scotland. We can also potentially film in Scotland as well.

The case studies will be used on the SMP website but you would also have full access and use, and would also be welcome to have all raw footage should you wish to make a longer film.

This is a great way to raise awareness of your links with Malawi, and it is completely free for SMP members.

Most urgently, we have a professional videographer available in Lilongwe mid-December to mid-January and we are keen to make three new short films in this window. If your partner is based in Lilongwe and is available in the next five weeks, do get in contact asap. Miss it, miss out!

We aim to use a series of Malawian videographers, from across the country. If you would like to recommend a good quality Malawian videographer, please email david(at)scotland-malawipartnership.org and we can look into adding them to the pool.
