Trustee with Compliance / Risk Focus

Role overview

We are looking for someone with experience of working across the areas of charity governance, compliance and risk management, to take strategic oversight of our governance in the UK and Malawi, plus strategic risk analyses of Classrooms for Malawi’s expansion. We are about to embark on a new three-year plan to the end of 2023 which requires for the charity to expand its reach and activities to enable many more children in Malawi to achieve improved education attainment levels. The trustee will have a good understanding of the role CSO’s provide in bringing about change for the lives of people living in poverty.


Trustee with experience in Income Generation / Fundraising

Role overview

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of working inIncome Generation/ Fundraising with a particular focus on developing new unrestricted income streams, to provide strategic guidance particularly in relation to diversifying income. We are about to embark on a new three-year plan to the end of 2023 which requires for the charity to increase its unrestricted income in order to support many more children in Malawi to achieve improved education attainment levels. The trustee will have a good understanding of the role CSO’s provide in bringing about change for the lives of people living in poverty.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience of working in International Developmentto provide strategic guidance particularly in relation to our School Development Programme in Malawi. We are about to embark on a new three-year plan to the end of 2023 which requires for the charity to expand its reach and activities to enable many more children in Malawi to achieve improved education attainment levels. The trustee will have a good understanding of the role CSO’s provide in bringing about change for the lives of people living in poverty.
