SMP AGM is nearly here!

22 September 2017

Kathy looks ahead to her first SMP AGM and all the fun activities, exciting prizes and Malawian music to be shared.

It's only one week to go til our AGM extravaganza! Kathy reflects on her first #SMPAGM on the horizon...

As the day approaches I'm filled with a mixture of excitement, anticipation - and a little bit of nervousness! Whilst I hope the event will live up to previous years' successes, my overwhelming feeling is eagerness for the day to arrive as I know all the fantastic things that are in store:

  • Inspiring stories from our members
  • Live Malawian music
  • Meeting old friends and new
  • A very special surprise guest
  • Incredible tourism prizes from all over Malawi
  • And of course, Malawian gin and tonics!

Plus much, much more.

This year, we're adding a splash of colour to proceedings by inviting members to come dressed in Malawi clothes or colours if you wish. Be bold!

Our theme is ‘Understanding Partnership’ and celebrating the many and varied partnerships our members have. In the run up to the AGM we’re inviting all our members, partners and friends to take a moment to reflect on what they see as the real meaning of partnership.

If you haven'ts booked your place yet, the AGM is taking place on Saturday 30th September at Stewart's Melville College, Edinburgh (EH4 3EZ) from 2pm.
