This event will feature spotlights from multiple teachers in both Scotland and Malawi at Primary and Secondary level, speaking about the successes and challenges their partnership has encountered during nearly a year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Featured speakers will be from Beath High School, Penicuik High School, St Ronan's Primary School, Mazozo CDSS and Njala & Mapanga Partnership.

Orbis Expeditions will be present to share a travel update from Malawi and any questions about travelling out to Africa in 2021/2022 plus a chance to get a spot of one of their first study trips back in July 2021.

This will be followed by the opportunity for live dialogue in smaller groups between all attendees.

We will be considering questions such as:

  • What was the effect of cancelling planned trips?
  • Has it been possible to embrace digital?
  • How do you feel about the future of your partnership?

Please do also share topics you would most like to talk about at this session in your Eventbrite booking.

Speaker clips and discussion highlights will be shared after the Forum with all registered Youth and School Members.
