Edinburgh Schools' Forum

29 Aug 2019

All education practitioners with an interest in finding out more about Global Citizenship, Learning for Sustainability and school partnerships are encouraged to attend our next Edinburgh-based Schools' Forum.

There's no requirement to be a member of the Scotland Malawi Partnership or have a school partnership to attend but we would encourage you to register (it's free)!

Run in partnership with Scotdec, the Schools' Forum is a great chance to find out more about how to include Learning for Sustainability in a classroom or school!

When: 29th August, 4.30pm-7pm
Where: City Chambers, Edinburgh

Register for our Edinburgh Schools' Forum here

During the forum, there will be the chance to hear more about organisations in the area offering support, and an opportunity to work in groups to look at matters related to school partnerships such as the Sustainable Development Goals.

We'll also be joined by guests who will offer some insight into their school partnership experience over the past few years.

Staff from Scotdec will  speak about their work, and will be on hand to offer practical advice on how schools can help promote understanding of global concerns and support active global citizenship, as well as giving information on how to access free resources.

We'll finish off the forum with networking time over Malawian gin, coffee and Fairtrade snacks!

If you've got any questions about the event, please get in touch with Gemma.
