MPs back DFID, 0.7% for overseas aid and the SMP4 Jul 2019
In a recent Westminster debate, strong cross-party support for the UK’s international development contribution and the work of DFID was voiced. There was also support from MPs and Government for the commitment to maintain not less than 0.7% of Gross National Income on overseas development, a pledge which is set in statute.
