Leave No-one Behind: progress on the Global Goals in Scotland and abroad

On 28th August, the SMP, the Alliance, Scotland's SDG Network and the UN co-hosted a panel discussion on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On 28th August, the Scotland Malawi Partnership, Scotland’s International Development Alliance, Scotland’s SDG Network and the UN co-hosted a panel discussion on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our high-profile panel will included both domestic and internationally focused experts; and we were delighted that Daniel Gay, Inter-Regional Advisor on Least Developed Countries at the UN’s Department of Economic and Social Affairs, joined us from New York.

The event gave stakeholders and actors interested in the SDGs, at home or abroad, the chance to apply the knowledge and experience of others into their own work.

The engaging panel discussion included an opportunity to hear from colleagues in Malawi via video link, and from the many voices that make up the SDG Network in Scotland via their new film. Following the panel discussion, there was networking opportunities over lunch.

We will be uploading a full video of the event and presentations shortly, so stay tuned!
