Encouraging updates from the successful, ScotGov-funded, MalDent programme

Dental Students from KUHES visit

We were joined by two of the final year dental students from the first cohort of Malawi-trained dentists at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences. Esther Khomba and Chifundo Banda, were visiting Glasgow Dental School for a student elective, funded by the HOPE Foundation of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow and will share their thoughts with the Forum.

There were encouraging updates from the successful, Scottish Government-funded MalDent programme and contributions on essential elements of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in oral health planning, policy and implementation.
