Dr Matemba opened the forum by welcoming participants and reaffirming the importance of collaboration in advancing shared learning and research.

Dr Elita Chamdimba provided a brief update on developments at the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE), highlighting ongoing opportunities for academic engagement and knowledge exchange through the recent launched newsletter.

This was followed by Bosco Chinkonda, PhD researcher at the University of Glasgow, who shared a report on a recent Malawi–Scotland Society (MSS) event, outlining key outcomes and reflections.

Linda Dembo, CEO of the Malawi Scotland Partnership (MaSP), offered an update on the organisation’s strategic plan, emphasising priority areas and future directions for collective action.

The meeting concluded with contributions from members, who shared updates, discussed emerging opportunities, and explored ways to deepen collaboration within the FEHE community.

The SMP extends its thanks to all who attended and looks forward to continued partnership across the sector.
