About the event
2050 Climate Group are excited to announce their Youth Climate Summit: Let's Talk COP26 on 4th September 2021! This online event will be open to all young people aged 18-35 from across Scotland and beyond, and will offer the opportunity to spend a day hearing from inspiring speakers and participating in workshops covering a range of climate change and sustainability topics.
"By engaging specifically with the event of COP26, the Youth Climate Summit strives to demystify a political decision making process that both lacks transparency and often marginalises those experiencing the climate emergency first and worst. Through a focus on key themes of COP26 - nature-based solutions, adaptation and resilience, finance, energy transition, and clean road transport - this event will equip young people with the knowledge to understand and engage with the decisions being taken at the COP26."
