The Agriculture Extension Methods Officer (AEMO, Mr Qongwane) in Mulanje in Thuchila EPA saying to the other farmers when one of their neighbours had adopted DBF. "Let everyone search for a very good cob in any field" . The DBF field was side by side with Conventional Ridges. All the farmers and agriculture staff went to the side of DBF and not the ridges. Then he said "the results clearly show that you all the neighbours will adopt DBF.
