Inspiration Activation workshops are a great opportunity to develop ideas and raise awareness about how you can increase the impact of your Link in the UK and overseas, and plan how you can make the best use of an Action Grant.
In a day of fun, interactive group activities and discussion, you will develop your ideas about how you can involve your wider community, help other people learn more about the realities of life in your Link community overseas and build support for international development in the UK .
These facilitated events are open to any member of the UK based community group. However, places are limited and have been restricted, so your community group can only be represented by one individual.
The workshop will provide opportunity to:
· network with people with similar interests in order to share your achievements, find out what others are doing, and help each other find solutions to challenges
reflect on the similarities and· differences between the UK and your link country, and how you could increase awareness and challenge misconceptions
learn more about some of the key· global issues that face the world, particularly poorer countries
think about how· Global Learning Activities could help your link, and developing creative ideas to get people involved
find out more about how to· successfully apply for an Action grant, including key criteria and how to submit a successful application.
Places at the workshop are limited, and can only be secured once we have received a fully completed registration form.
To register your attendance, please fill out the attached registration form and return it to Communitylinks@britishcouncil.org.
Places are strictly on a first come first served basis, so book now to avoid disappointment
Full joining instructions will be sent to you upon receipt of your workshop registration form.
Please advise if you are unable to attend the workshop so we can offer your place to another person. Alternatively, you may wish to nominate another member of your community group.
We look forward to seeing you there!
