IDEAS' Requires a Part- Time Coordinator for the Global Learning Project

The Global Learning Project (GLP) is an initiative developed by the International Development Education Association Scotland (IDEAS) in collaboration with key educational stakeholders in Scotland and funded by the Department for International Development (DFID).

The purpose of the Global Learning Project (GLP) is to provide coherence and increase capacity within the Scottish education system to deliver effective global learning[1] in schools and teacher education institutions.

A key feature of the project is to bring together statutory and voluntary sector organisations from across the country both of whom will be equally involved in the management structures of the project.

The overall goal of the GLP is to encourage young people in Scotland to critically think about development issues for themselves, and come to their own conclusions about these issues and their own involvement in global development.
