Special briefing event on Community Therapeutic Care (CTC), at the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh on Wednesday, 18 November, 10am - 12.30 pm. Concern Worldwide have received Scottish Government support for nutrition work in Malawi since 2006 and this event will provide an insight into how CTC differs from more traditional methods and exactly why it is so effective in treating malnutrition. It will also consider the causes of malnutrition and touch on related issues such as gender based nutrition education, HIV and AIDS, and the effects of a change in traditional diet.
