CONTEXT
Mary’s Meals Malawi currently runs a school feeding programme which spans across all of Malawi and reaches over 300,000 children in over 200 primary schools. We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic Country Director to work hand-in-hand with Scottish International Relief (SIR) who are our major funder. The Country Director will have full responsibility on the ground but be accountable to the Chief Executive of SIR for the good leadership and management of the programme.

PURPOSE
o to implement the strategy and programme requirements of Mary’s Meals in Malawi
o to ensure the right running and furtherance of the charitable activities and intentions of the Mary’s Meals Board of Trustees
o to build the capacity and capability of the organization and lead the team tasked with the feeding of orphans and primary school children
o to ensure transparency and accountability and proper administration of all activities contributing to this end
