LCD Malawi event: 6th July
Link Community Development would like to invite SMP members to the below event:
Link Community Development in Malawi, Monday 6th July, 5pm-7pm
Ed Barnett, Programme Director, Link Community Development Malawi will present their work in Malawi in partnership with local and central government and the achievements of the Malawi School Improvement Project and Malawi Inclusive Education Project, both funded by the Scottish Government. The presentation will be followed by questions and discussion.
This project is supported by Scottish educational expertise from the Trustees of Link Community Development Scotland; and through the Global Teachers Programme and Link Schools Programme which involve Scottish schools and teachers working with project schools to support school improvement in Africa and global citizenship in Scotland. In Malawi, they have involved 56 Scottish teachers with their work through the Global Teachers Programme, and have 61 schools working in partnership. In Uganda, they have involved 29 Scottish teachers with our work as SCIPD participants, and a growing number of school partnerships through the Link Schools Programme.
