The Scotland Malawi Partnership with the Association of Malawians in Scotland are hosting the 45th Malawi Independence Celebrations.

This year the celebrations will be taking place in the Renfield Centre (260 Bath Street, Glasgow) between 1pm and 5pm; it will include traditional and contemporary Malawian music by Nat Chalamanda and the Moyenda Band. A lunch will be provided and all are invited to bring Malawian dishes if they wish. We are extremely fortunate to have Miss Flossie Gomile Chidyaonga, the Malawi Deputy High Commissioner to the UK, addressing the celebrations.

All are welcome to this fun and informal event so please invite friends and family; it will be a great opportunity to celebrate with Malawians and friends of Malawi.
