membership
Membership with the Scotland Malawi Partnership offers key benefits. Members are provided with a personal membership area to promote their work/experience/interests in Malawi (which is shared publicly through the interactive mapping system), updates to new funding opportunities, regular news feeds of relevant Malawi news, and free attendance to all SMP events. Membership of the Scotland Malawi Partnership falls into one of two categories: Full membership (for organisations) and Associate membership (for individuals). Full members have voting rights at general meetings; associate members do not.

To apply for membership, an organisation or an individual should complete an application form and submit the completed form to the Scotland Malawi Partnership (info@scotland-malawipartnership.org) which will then be considered by the Board of Directors. Once an application is accepted by the Board, the organisation or individual will become a member upon payment of their annual membership fee. Members will then receive details to create their own membership page, which will detail their work on our interactive mapping system.

Membership fees have been set at the following rate:

SMP youth membership is available to all young people in Scotland aged 14 to 24 and is free to join! Youth members will receive a monthly email bulletin, invites to SMP events and information on opportunities that will strengthen their links with Malawi.
