Her sister and brother-in-law, Hamid and Margriet Sacranie of the Central Bookshop in Blantyre, Malawi, were among the 12 original founding members of the Fund. A particular focus for the efforts of Mrs Sacranie and her group in Crieff is providing funds for food and helping orphans.
